Cook lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
In a pan, sauté olive oil, ground beef, and onion. Add garlic, red wine, marinara sauce, salt, pepper, thyme, sugar, and parsley. Simmer for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg, and parsley.
Assemble lasagna in a 9x13 casserole dish: layer meat sauce, noodles, mozzarella cheese, cheese sauce, and repeat for three layers.
Top with remaining meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 375˚F for 45 minutes, then broil for 3-5 minutes.
Let the lasagna cool for 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy the cheesy, juicy layers!
