Ingredients
- 200 grams All-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 4 tablespoons Melted margarine
- 120 ml Milk
- Sweet potato
- 2 tablespoons Margarine
- 4 tablespoons Milk
- 4 tablespoons Sweetened condensed milk
- Grated cheese
- Margarine for pan-frying
Instructions
- Prepare the Sweet Potato Filling: Peel the purple sweet potatoes, wash them, and slice into rounds. Steam for approximately 30 minutes until very tender. Mash the sweet potatoes and mix in 2 tablespoons of margarine, 4 tablespoons of milk, and 4 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk until well combined. Divide into approximately 17 equal portions and shape into small discs.
- Prepare the Dough: Combine 200 grams of all-purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 4 tablespoons of melted margarine, and 120 ml of milk in a bowl. Knead until a soft, smooth dough forms and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
- Assemble the Sweet Potato Cheese Breads: Divide the rested dough into 17 equal portions. Flatten one portion into a thin circle, place a portion of grated cheese in the center, and add a sweet potato filling disc on top. Gather the edges of the dough to enclose the filling and pinch to seal.
- Cook the Sweet Potato Cheese Breads: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat with a bit of margarine. Place the assembled breads in the pan and pan-fry for a few minutes on each side until golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Serve: Remove the cooked breads from the pan and serve warm.
