Rinse the whole chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
Cut lemons and garlic cloves in half. Stuff the chicken cavity with lemon halves, garlic cloves, and fresh rosemary.
Rub the chicken with olive oil and season generously with salt, black pepper, and additional rosemary.
Place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
