Cut beef into pieces and season with salt, pepper, and plain flour.
Brown the beef in a pan with butter, mushrooms, garlic, and onion.
Add paprika, wine, thyme, tomato paste, and mustard. Simmer for a couple of hours until beef is tender.
Serve with rice or preferred side dish.
