Drain and rinse the black beans. Save the aquafaba.
Pulse the rolled oats into smaller bits.
Combine oats, black beans, pitted dates, protein powder, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and half of the aquafaba in a food processor. Pulse until a dough ball forms.
Line a bread pan with parchment paper and press the mixture into the pan. Top with vegan chocolate chips.
Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes.
Cut into 16 portions. Each black bean protein bar contains approximately 218 calories, 14g protein, 1 1/2g fat, and 32g carbohydrates.
