Preheat oven to 220°C. Grease a Pyrex dish with vegetable oil.
Prepare the batter by mixing egg, milk, flour, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well incorporated and let it stand for 15-20 minutes.
Slice boiled potatoes into 1/4 inch thick slices.
Layer onions, Panetta, potatoes, and sausages in the Pyrex dish. Bake at 220°C for 20 minutes.
Prepare the onion gravy by sweating onions in vegetable oil, adding water, and thickening with gravy granules.
After 20 minutes, pour the batter over the dish and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
Cook Savoy cabbage in butter with salt and pepper.
Serve the Yorkshire Toad in the Hole with buttered cabbage and onion gravy. Enjoy!
