Parmesan cheese (preferably inner part of a younger parmesan for better texture)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit or 200 degrees Celsius.
Grate the parmesan cheese.
Line a sheet pan with a silpat for best results.
Use a ring mold for uniform size, if desired.
Bake the grated parmesan in the oven for about five minutes, watching closely to prevent overcooking.
Allow the crisps to cool, then gently peel them off the silpat.
Optionally, shape or cut them while still soft.
Use the parmesan crisps to garnish salads, pasta, or as a snack.
