In a bowl, whisk margarine, Nutella, and caster sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and self-raising flour, whisk until just combined.
Scoop the mixture into a loaf tin, smooth it out, and bake in the oven. Let it cool.
For the icing, gradually add icing sugar to butter, whisk until combined. Add Nutella and milk, whisk until smooth.
Pipe Nutella ganache strip around the edge, then pipe on the buttercream icing. Add any desired extras.
