Orange Vanilla Donuts

Ingredients
- 550 grams of flour (half Manitoba, half 00)
- 7 grams of dehydrated brewer's yeast
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 200 ml warm milk
- 60 grams of sugar
- 75 grams of sunflower seed oil
- 2 eggs
- Grated rind of half an orange
- 1 sachet of vanillin
Instructions
- Mix 550 grams of flour, 7 grams of dehydrated brewer's yeast, and 2 teaspoons of sugar to activate the levitation.
- In another bowl, pour 200 ml of warm milk. Add 60 grams of sugar, 75 grams of sunflower seed oil, 2 eggs, grated rind of half an orange, and a sachet of vanillin. Mix well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until a consistent dough forms. Knead until soft and elastic.
- Place the dough in a bowl, make a cross incision, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise until doubled in volume (approximately 2 hours).
- After rising, knead the dough lightly and roll it out to form a rectangle about 1.5 centimeters thick. Shape the donuts using a pastry ring and a piping bag.
- Place the donuts on parchment paper for a second leavening of around 20 minutes.
- Fry the donuts in hot oil until golden brown, turning them a couple of times. Remove excess oil with tongs.
- Coat the donuts in sugar.
