In a pan, melt butter and add garlic and soy sauce.
Add a little oil and cook down onions, carrot, green onions, and garlic.
Mix in day-old rice and cook for a couple of minutes.
Add more oil and scramble two eggs, then combine with the rice mixture.
Stir in soy sauce, salt, a small pinch of sugar, white pepper, and some butter.
Finish by adding more green onions.
