Texas Whopper Combo

Ingredients
- 4 large pickling cucumbers
- 6 large jalapenos
- 2 cups white distilled vinegar
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/2 tbsp kosher salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 4 garlic cloves
- 4 sprigs of dill
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 1/2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 lb thick smoky bacon
- 7 russet potatoes
- Salt
- 3 oz ground beef patties
- Salt and pepper
- American cheese slices
- Burger buns
- Mayonnaise
- Mustard
- Tomato slices
- Iceberg lettuce
- Pickles
- Basil leaves
- Mint leaves
- Lime juice
- Ginger beer
- Pineapple juice
Instructions
- Prepare pickled cucumbers and jalapenos by slicing them and placing them in separate containers. Heat vinegar, water, salt, and sugar in a pot until boiling. Pour the pickling liquid over the cucumbers and jalapenos, add garlic and dill, and let sit until room temperature.
- Make garlic mayo by blending egg yolks, sugar, garlic, lemon juice, water, mustard, and slowly adding vegetable oil until emulsified.
- Cook bacon until crispy, drain on paper towels.
- Prepare french fries by boiling, cutting, par-cooking, and freezing potatoes before frying until golden brown and crispy.
- Form ground beef into patties, season, cook, and melt American cheese on top.
- Toast burger buns, spread with mayo, assemble with patties, bacon, pickles, jalapenos, mustard, tomato, lettuce, and onions.
- Make a ginger soda by muddling mint, basil, lime juice, adding ginger beer, pineapple juice, and a pinch of salt. Stir and garnish.
- Serve the Texas Whopper Combo with the ginger soda for a complete meal experience. Enjoy!
