Seasoning of your choice (salt, pepper, all-purpose seasoning)
12-16 ounces pasta
2.5 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and pepper jack mix)
Instructions:
In a large saute pan, cook the sliced sausage and diced onion until the onion is cooked down and the sausage has some color.
Add minced garlic and cook for one more minute.
Add chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, fire-roasted diced tomatoes, and seasoning. Mix well.
Add pasta and extra chicken broth if needed. Cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
Add shredded cheese and mix well until melted.
Serve and enjoy your easy one pot smoked sausage pasta.
