In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar.
Mix in eggs and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
Mix in sour cream and pureed bananas.
Fold in chopped walnuts.
Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with the butter wrapper.
Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for 60-75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing and slicing.
