Marinate the beef in soy sauce, sugar, and water for at least 30 minutes.
Grill or pan-fry the beef until cooked to your liking.
Slice the baguette in half and spread mayonnaise on both sides.
Add the cooked beef on top of the mayonnaise.
Add pickled carrots and daikon, sliced cucumber, and cilantro on top of the beef.
Close the sandwich and enjoy!
