Season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and flip to season the other side.
Fry seasoned chicken breasts in a pan over medium-high heat until cooked through.
In a bowl, mix black beans, sour cream, salsa, cheddar cheese, jalapeno, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.
Slice cooked chicken into bite-sized chunks and mix with the salsa mixture.
Layer tortilla chips at the bottom of a baking dish, add a layer of chicken mixture, then another layer of tortilla chips, and another layer of chicken mixture.
Top with mozzarella cheese and bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 20-25 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
