Homemade Granola

Ingredients
- 5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup nuts or seeds (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pecans, coconut, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 cup nut butter (e.g., peanut butter, almond butter, sunflower seed butter)
- 1/4 cup oil (e.g., coconut oil)
- 1-2 teaspoons flavorings (e.g., cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, vanilla extract)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- In a large bowl, combine oats, nuts/seeds, and any desired spices.
- In a separate bowl, melt nut butter with maple syrup/honey and oil.
- Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix until everything is coated.
- Spread the mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, tossing every 10-15 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- Once golden brown and crispy, remove from the oven and let it cool.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a couple of weeks.
