Activate yeast by mixing 2 tablespoons of yeast with warm water in a mixer.
Slowly add flour and other ingredients to the yeast mixture in the mixer.
Knead the dough in the mixer for about 10 minutes until it's slightly sticky.
Coat a bowl with canola oil, transfer the dough into the bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 45 minutes.
Form rolls by squeezing dough portions through your thumb and pointer finger, placing them seam side down on a cookie sheet.
Let the rolls rise for about 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the rolls for 22-25 minutes.
Optional: Brush the rolls with butter for added flavor and shine.
