Melt the butter over medium-low heat in a saucepan.
Add the sugar and stir until combined. Let it cool.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the cooled mixture and stir until combined.
Add the flour and cocoa powder to the mixture and stir until combined.
Fold in the chopped pecans, chopped almonds, and half a cup of extra dark chocolate chips.
Pour the mixture into a baking dish lined with a parchment sling.
Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top of the mixture.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes.
