In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, milk powder, and sugar.
In a separate bowl, combine egg, melted butter, and milk. Add instant yeast and mix well.
Combine wet and dry ingredients, mix until a soft dough forms. Knead for about 10 minutes.
Let the dough rise for an hour until doubled in size.
Prepare syrup by cooking sugar, water, and cardamom pods until thickened.
Punch down the risen dough, pinch off pieces, and flatten them.
Place a piece of Kiri cheese in the center, seal the dough around it.
Let the filled dough rise for another half an hour.
Brush with egg wash and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 25-35 minutes.
Spread syrup over the baked bread and let it cool before serving.
