Add cornstarch to the sauce to thicken it.
Add sugar and vinegar to the sauce to balance the flavors.
Fry the chicken cubes in oil at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown.
Double-fry the chicken cubes at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for extra crispiness.
Add the chicken cubes to the sauce and cook for a minute.
Blanch broccoli in salted water and ice water.
Plate the General Tso's chicken and garnish with broccoli.
