Honey Garlic Chicken

Ingredients
- 250g (2 chicken breasts)
- 2 pinches of salt
- Pepper powder
- 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
- Cooking oil
- 130g Rice cake
- Potatoes or sweet potatoes (substitute for rice cake)
- 20g (1.5 tbsp) Unsalted butter
- 18g (1 tbsp) Minced garlic
- 17g (2.5 tbsp) Soy sauce
- 14g (2 tbsp) Vinegar
- 56g (3.5 tbsp) Honey (starch syrup possible)
- Crushed Red Pepper (optional)
- Roasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken breasts. Cut them into bite-size pieces.
- Put the chicken in a plastic bag and add the all-purpose flour. Shake the bag to coat the chicken evenly.
- Heat cooking oil in a frying pan and add the coated chicken. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Add rice cake (or substitute) to the pan and continue cooking until the rice cake is well-browned.
- Create a space in the middle of the pan and add unsalted butter. Melt the butter.
- Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, vinegar, and honey (or starch syrup) quickly over medium heat.
- Optional: Add crushed red pepper for some heat.
- Optional: Sprinkle roasted sesame seeds for added flavor.
- Serve the Honey Garlic Chicken hot and enjoy the delicious flavors.
