In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
Dip the bread slices in the egg mixture for 5 seconds each side.
Cook bacon in a pan over medium-low heat for about 2 minutes per side.
Add a knob of butter to the pan and cook the bread slices for about a minute on each side.
Mix equal parts of icing sugar and cinnamon for dusting.
Serve the French toast with maple syrup, crushed and toasted hazelnuts, whipped cream, and sliced strawberries on top.
