Ingredients
- 500 grams of chicken
- 1 cup of potato starch
- 1-3 tablespoons of salt
- 1 tablespoon of garlic
- A pinch of black pepper
- 3 tablespoons of gochujang
- 6 tablespoons of ketchup
- 1.5 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1.5 tablespoons of minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 6 tablespoons of corn syrup
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut 500 grams of chicken into bite-sized pieces, removing any excess fat.
- Prepare the batter by mixing potato starch, salt, garlic, black pepper, and water to achieve a thick consistency.
- Deep-fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
- In a separate bowl, combine gochujang, ketchup, soy sauce, minced garlic, sugar, and corn syrup to make the sauce.
- Double fry the chicken for extra crispiness.
- Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until well coated.
