Ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2-2.5 pounds chicken wings
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Freshly ground pepper (to taste)
- Parsley (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a bowl, coat the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and freshly ground pepper.
- Arrange the seasoned chicken wings on a baking pan with a cooling rack on top.
- Bake the chicken wings for 40 minutes, turning them halfway through.
- In the meantime, prepare the honey garlic sauce. In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and a pinch of pepper.
- Heat the sauce over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until it starts to bubble.
- Adjust the heat as needed to maintain a gentle simmer, and cook the sauce until it thickens slightly.
- Once the chicken wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and brush them with the honey garlic sauce.
- Return the chicken wings to the oven for an additional 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot. Enjoy!
- Note: Adjust cooking times and temperatures based on your oven and personal preferences.
