Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
In a bowl, mash ripe bananas and mix in vegan butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and plant-based milk.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in chopped walnuts if desired.
Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the banana bread to cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
