Remove bones from chicken thighs and season with sesame oil and coarse salt. Set aside.
Rinse the rice until water is clear, then place it in a rice cooker. Add chicken broth, garlic, ginger, and green onions. Place seasoned chicken thighs on top.
Cook the chicken and rice in the rice cooker until done.
