Dip ladyfingers in a mixture of water and espresso, then layer them in a dish.
Chill a mixture of egg yolks, sugar, and mascarpone cheese, being careful not to over-whip.
Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
Refrigerate and let it chill.
Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.
