Toast the rolled oats in a pan until it smells toasty.
Add 1 ½ cups of water and a pinch of salt to the pan and stir on medium heat until it becomes creamy.
Add the miso paste, chopped green onion, dark soy sauce, and sesame oil and stir until everything is incorporated.
Fry an egg in a separate pan until it is crispy.
Serve the oatmeal topped with the fried egg and a sprinkle of green onion.
