Mix bread flour, whole wheat flour, salt, yeast, and warm water in a bowl. Knead for a couple of minutes until no dry flour remains. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
Prepare tomato sauce by cooking tomatoes, butter, olive oil, garlic, onion, and salt on low heat for 20 minutes.
Stretch and knead the dough for 5 minutes, then let it rise for 30 minutes. Blend the tomato sauce with basil.
Drizzle oil in a pan, place the dough, stretch it out, and let it rest. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
Top the dough with calabrian chilies, oregano, mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce. Add any additional toppings.
Bake the pizza for about 20 minutes until the crust is crispy and browned. Let it cool for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
