Reverse Seared Rib Eyes with Black Garlic Butter (Original video)
Ingredients:
3 large rib eyes
Oil
Homemade beef seasoning
1 stick of softened butter
1 tablespoon chopped rosemary
1 tablespoon black garlic paste with bourbon
Instructions:
Preheat smoker to 250°F.
Lather rib eyes with oil and season with homemade beef seasoning.
In a bowl, mix softened butter, chopped rosemary, and black garlic paste with bourbon.
Roll the butter mixture into a log and set aside.
Smoke the rib eyes for 1 to 1.5 hours until they reach an internal temperature of 120°F, flipping them halfway through.
Remove the rib eyes from the smoker and let them rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
Preheat a high heat grill.
Sear the rib eyes for 1 minute per side.
Top each rib eye with a slice of the black garlic butter.
Slice and serve. Enjoy!
