Homemade Cheeseburgers

Ingredients
- 1/2 head of green leaf lettuce
- 1 large tomato
- 1/2 red onion
- 4 slices of medium cheddar cheese
- 4 soft potato buns
- Butter
- 1 lb 80/20 ground chuck beef
- Salt and pepper
- Pickles
- Secret Sauces
- Mayonnaise mixed with 1 tsp yellow mustard
- Mayonnaise mixed with Dijon mustard
- Fry sauce (mayo and ketchup)
- Mayonnaise mixed with barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Prepare toppings by cutting lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
- Butter cut sides of buns and toast.
- Make secret sauces by mixing mayonnaise with different condiments.
- Divide beef into four equal pieces and shape into patties.
- Season patties with salt and pepper on both sides and make a well in the center of each patty.
- Preheat grill to medium and grill patties for 3-5 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Assemble burgers by placing pickles on bottom bun, followed by lettuce, tomato, red onion, patty with cheese, and generous amount of secret sauce.
- Enjoy hot and juicy homemade cheeseburgers.
