Sear cubed steak in a hot skillet with oil on each side, then remove from the pan.
Add onion, celery, bell pepper, Worcestershire sauce, granulated garlic, black pepper, and Southern seasoning to the skillet. Cook until vegetables soften.
Stir in mushrooms, au jus gravy mix, and 117°F water. Bring to a simmer.
Return seared beef to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
