Beef and Onion Stir Fry

Ingredients
- 4 green onions
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion
- Beef (any cut)
- Soy sauce
- Dark soy sauce
- Oyster sauce
- Sugar
- Baking soda
- Corn starch
- Oil
- Sesame oil
- Salt
- Rice wine
- Crushed black pepper
Instructions
- Cut 4 green onions, separating the white and green parts. Cut them into 2-inch sections and keep them separate.
- Crush and finely mince 4 cloves of garlic.
- Cut 1 onion into large strips.
- Slice the beef against the grain into average thickness.
- Marinate the beef with soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, a little baking soda, corn starch, oil, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Preheat a pan over medium-high heat, add oil, and stir fry the white part of the green onion and onion strips with a pinch of sugar and salt. Remove when ready.
- Add more oil to the hot pan, pan fry the beef until slightly browned. Stir in the minced garlic and cook until beef is 70% done.
- Add rice wine, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, and water. Let the sauce thicken.
- Add crushed black pepper and the cooked onions back to the pan. Mix well.
- Stir everything together and serve.
