Instructions:
Determine the plant protein or main ingredient and marinate it in coconut cream or blended cashews and water with lemon zest, basic red chili powder, smoked paprika, and dried fenugreek leaves or maple syrup.
Cook the marinated tofu in the oven on skewers for the best texture.
Caramelize finely diced onions and add in toasted spices and roasted red bell pepper to the tomato sauce.
Simmer and thicken the sauce with diced tomatoes.
Add the tofu to the sauce and allow it to braise.
Take your time with the sauce to allow the flavors to develop.
