Creamy Rose Tteokbokki

Ingredients
- Rice cakes
- Bacon
- Mini sausages
- Heavy cream
- Milk
- Gochugaru (Korean chili pepper flakes)
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- Sugar
- Dasida (Korean beef stock powder)
- Curry powder
- Black pepper
- Water
- Oil
- Salt
- Green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Blanch rice cakes in boiling water for about 2 minutes until they start to soften.
- In a pan over medium-low heat, cook bacon and sausages for about 2 minutes to release flavors.
- Add the seasoning paste (made with gochugaru, gochujang, sugar, dasida, curry powder, black pepper, water) and sauté for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Pour in milk and heavy cream, simmer for 4 minutes.
- Add drained rice cakes, simmer for an additional 5 to 6 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt to taste, mix well.
- Serve in a bowl or pan, garnish with green onions.
