Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a baking dish with butter and line with parchment paper.
Melt dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and espresso powder in a bowl over simmering water. Set aside to cool slightly.
In a separate bowl, beat together butter, dark brown sugar, organic cane sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Fold in the melted chocolate mixture.
Sift in flour and cocoa powder, then fold gently to combine.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
Bake for 20 minutes, then remove from the oven and slam the dish on the counter to even out the texture.
Sprinkle sea salt on top and return to the oven for an additional 25 minutes.
Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into squares and serving. Enjoy the rich, fudgy goodness!
