Mix two parts white silica sand with one part white cement in a mixing container.
Add water gradually to achieve a wet cake batter-like consistency.
Grease the inside and outside of the mold with cooking oil or a mold release agent.
Pour the concrete mix into the mold, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
Place the inside mold with a hole to allow air to escape and prevent air pockets.
Add weight to keep the mold in place and prevent floating.
Vibrate the mold to remove air bubbles and ensure proper consolidation.
Allow the concrete to cure for at least 24 hours before demolding.
Remove the bowl from the mold carefully, breaking off any excess mortar.
If needed, patch any imperfections with a mixture of white sand, white cement, and water.
For a smoother finish, rasp or grind the top layer after curing for a few weeks.
Optionally, sand the bowl to achieve the desired finish, starting with a coarse grit and progressing to a finer grit.
Enjoy your white concrete bowl for decorative or functional use.
