Sous Vide BBQ Ribs

Ingredients
- St. Louis cut ribs
- Brown sugar
- Paprika
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder
- Kosher salt
- Liquid smoke
- BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the rib rub by combining brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, and kosher salt in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs using a spoon.
- Apply the rib rub generously on both sides of the ribs.
- Place each half of the ribs into a gallon-sized plastic bag and add a teaspoon of liquid smoke to each bag.
- Seal the bags using the water displacement method or a vacuum sealer.
- Cook the ribs sous vide at 165°F for 12 hours.
- After cooking, place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil and bake at 350°F to bring them up to temperature.
- Optionally, chill the ribs in an ice bath for storage.
- When ready to serve, apply BBQ sauce on the ribs and broil for a minute on each side.
- Serve and enjoy the tender, flavorful sous vide BBQ ribs.
