Ingredients

  • 2 five to six ounce salmon fillets
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Chili powder
  • 3-4 tablespoons butter
  • 1-2 tablespoons Better Than Bouillon lobster base
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1-2 tablespoons flour
  • Chicken stock
  • Heavy cream
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Tony's Cajun or Creole seasoning
  • Lemon
  • Thyme
  • Avocado oil or vegetable oil
  • Parsley

Instructions

  1. Season salmon fillets with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, and chili powder.
  2. Prepare Cajun cream sauce by melting butter, adding lobster base, garlic, flour, chicken stock, and heavy cream. Season with Cajun seasoning, add Parmesan cheese, and adjust seasoning.
  3. Cook seasoned salmon in a hot skillet with oil, flipping after 90 seconds per side. Baste with butter and thyme.
  4. Finish cooking salmon in a 400-degree oven for 6-8 minutes or until desired doneness.
  5. Plate salmon with Cajun cream sauce, garnish with parsley, and serve.
