Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
Dust the chicken with flour and shake off any excess.
Melt 3 tbsp of butter in a large pan over high heat.
Cook the chicken for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Turn the chicken and fry the other side for 2 minutes.
Reduce heat slightly to medium high and add the remaining 1/2 tbsp of butter.
Add the garlic and stir briefly.
Add the honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar to the pan.
Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 1 minute or until slightly thickened.
Serve the chicken with the honey garlic sauce and garnish with chives (optional).
