Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add 4 chicken sausages and cook for 7-8 minutes.
Add a scoop of garlic and cook for another minute.
Add 8 ounces of dry orzo pasta and cook for 1 minute.
Deglaze with 2 cups of low sodium chicken broth and 1/4 cup of half and half.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes (if desired).
Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes until orzo is cooked.
Add 2 cups of spinach and cook until wilted.
Stir in 1/2 cup of freshly shredded Parmesan cheese until combined.
Serve hot. This recipe makes 4 servings at 452 calories and 27 grams of protein.
