Ingredients
- 9.5 ounces of light brown sugar
- 4.5 ounces of white sugar
- 8 ounces (225 grams) of unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1.5 teaspoons of vanilla paste
- 11.5 ounces of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon of finely-ground hazelnut-flavored coffee
- 1 pound of mix-ins (milk and dark chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, chopped dark chocolate, peanut butter chips, dried coconut, mini pretzels, kettle chips, and caramel corn)
Instructions
- Brown the butter by cooking it over medium heat for 4-6 minutes until it turns golden brown. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
- Cream together the brown sugar, white sugar, and browned butter until fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla paste and beat for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, kosher salt, and hazelnut-flavored coffee.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix on low speed until just combined.
- Fold in the mix-ins, being careful not to over-mix.
- Pre-scoop the cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15 minutes on a cold tray.
- Allow to cool completely before serving.
