Five-Minute Homemade Garlic Flatbread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley
  • 4 large cloves of garlic

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and fine sea salt.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 2/3 cup of water, mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 30 seconds, then shape it into a ball.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 pieces and shape each piece into a flatbread about 1/8 inch thick.
  5. Heat a large grilling pan over medium heat.
  6. Brush each flatbread with extra virgin olive oil and cook for 60-75 seconds per side.
  7. In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, chopped parsley, and shredded garlic.
  8. After flipping the flatbread, spread the garlic and parsley mixture on top and cook for another 60-75 seconds.
  9. Remove the flatbread from the pan and repeat the process for the remaining pieces.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy the delicious homemade garlic flatbreads.
