Take the steak out of the fridge 20-30 minutes before cooking to bring it to room temperature.
Drizzle the steak with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper on both sides.
Rub and push the seasoning into the meat to ensure it is coated.
Heat a heavy bottom pan and place the steak in the pan.
Use tongs to ensure the steak is in good contact with the pan and turn it every couple of minutes.
Cook for 8 minutes for medium steak, turning every minute.
Sear the steak on the fat to make it crispy.
Check the firmness of the steak to determine if it is cooked to your liking.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest on a plate.
Squeeze lemon and drizzle olive oil over the steak.
Let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
